Quality Assurance & Control Engineer (QA/QC Engineer)

Role Overview

Core Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality control procedures, guidelines, policies, manuals, and Inspection and Test Plans.
• Conduct internal, second-party contractor, rainy-season preparedness, and other quality audits.
• Inspect contractor work, new assets, project handovers, spares, and critical testing activities.
• Review contractor Quality Plans, QA/QC reports, nonconformities, observations, and inspection records.
• Coordinate resolution of technical queries and concession requests related to nonconformities.
• Provide technical QA/QC guidance, promote performance improvement, and identify quality training needs.
• Maintain quality documentation and ensure compliance with health and safety policies and business processes.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• At least 10 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience implementing and maintaining QMS to ISO 9001 and ISO 50001 standards.
• Experience in a multidisciplinary organization, preferably in the Middle East.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and complete the required competency assessment.
• Extensive knowledge of health and safety policies and procedures.
• Microsoft Office proficiency, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Written and verbal English communication is essential.
• Chartered membership, Arabic communication, and relevant Six Sigma or ISO certifications are advantageous.
