Quality Assurance Analyst, Associate

A Typical Day in the Life Includes:

• Execute functional, regression, integration, system, exploratory, and end-to-end testing.
• Develop and maintain automated test suites using Python and Pytest .
• Validate REST APIs, backend services, and microservices architectures.
• Design and execute performance and load tests using tools such as Locust .
• Verify application quality across web applications, APIs, and distributed cloud services.
• Identify, document, track, and validate software defects.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, stand-ups, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
• Collaborate with developers to promote a shift-left quality culture.
• Support root cause analysis and defect resolution activities.
• Contribute to test planning, automation strategy, and quality metrics reporting.
• Support release validation and production readiness activities.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance automation coverage and product quality.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 0-1 years of experience in Software Testing, QA, internships, academic projects, or related hands-on experience.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC .
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices.
• Familiarity with Python programming.
• Basic understanding of test automation concepts.
• Understanding of Functional, Regression, Integration, and API Testing.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to software quality.

• Experience or exposure to Pytest or similar automation frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with REST API Testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Knowledge of performance and load testing concepts.
• Exposure to Locust, JMeter, or k6 .
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience with Git and version control systems.
• Familiarity with AWS Cloud Services and cloud-native applications.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Experience testing web applications built on React, Angular, or Vue .
• Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.
