The Quality and Process Engineer serves as a technical leader and this role combines quality engineering, process engineering, and project management responsibilities to support continuous improvement initiatives, World Class Manufacturing (WCM) objectives, and capital/non-capital projects.
Responsibilities include:
Improving manufacturing processes, product quality, operational efficiency, and cost performance across the organization.
The incumbent applies engineering principles, quality systems, statistical methodologies, and process optimization techniques to identify opportunities, resolve complex manufacturing challenges, and implement sustainable solutions.
This position acts as a key liaison between Production, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, Customers, and Suppliers to improve product performance, process capability, and overall business results.
Leads cross-functional teams, drives root cause analysis and corrective actions, manages process improvement projects, supports quality system compliance, and develops innovative solutions that increase productivity, improve quality, and reduce operating costs.
Lead process improvement projects utilizing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, SPC, Kaizen, 5S, and WCM methodologies.
Establish methods and controls to improve process capability and eliminate defects.
Conduct statistical analysis and process capability studies using tools such as Minitab and SPC methodologies.
Provide technical support to production teams to resolve process issues and improve manufacturing performance.
Bachelor Science degree in Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering
3+ years of Industrial Manufacturing experience.
