- Own configuration baselines at every major programme gate
- Chair the Configuration Control Board (CCB) and coordinate impact assessments
- Conduct weekly spot check audits to ensure audit readiness
- Publish document control standards (numbering scheme, revision rules, metadata)
- Define Engineering Development Plan triage process
Requirements
- 12+ years in Aerospace CM
- EDMS/PLM guru: ability to deploy, administer, and configure these systems
- Audit savvy: understanding of QMS and what authorities look for
- CCB experience on a programme with 500+ controlled documents
- Greenfield experience (nice to have)
- Understanding of PLM integration with CAD and MBSE toolchains (nice to have)

Role Overview
- This is owning the single source of truth for a nation building aerospace programme.
- You'll be building a next generation aerospace platform from a blank sheet of paper, alongside a sovereign data network.
- The founding engineering team is being assembled right now.
What You’ll Actually Be Doing
- Stand up the EDMS from scratch: creating folder structure, IDs, and approval workflows.
- Own configuration baselines at every major programme gate.
- Chair the Configuration Control Board (CCB) and coordinate impact assessments.
- Conduct weekly spot check audits to ensure 100% audit readiness.
Must Haves
- 12+ Years in Aerospace CM
- EDMS/PLM Guru: deploy, administer, and configure these systems without IT
- Audit Savvy: understand QMS and what authorities look for
- CCB Experience: run a CCB on a programme with 500+ controlled documents
