Role Overview
The Restaurant Assistant Manager assists the Restaurant Manager with daily restaurant operations and supervises the team in the manager’s absence.
The role leads and coaches restaurant team members while maintaining guest service, brand, food safety, quality, and operational standards.
Schedule
- The position is full time with flexible availability for days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and at least one hour before opening and after closing.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent guest service, coach team members, assign shift duties, and follow up on completion.
- Direct food preparation and service in accordance with brand, company, and health department regulations.
- Maintain restaurant cleanliness and perform general housekeeping duties.
- Monitor product quality, food safety, cash, sales, inventory, and operational standards.
- Complete paperwork, counts, truck orders, reports, and other administrative duties when required.
- Partner with the Restaurant Manager to achieve financial and operational metrics.
Qualifications
- A valid state driver’s license and excellent communication skills are required.
