Job Summary

  • Proactively manage selected corporate banking portfolio to achieve revenue, profit, and volume targets.
  • Formulate corporate branch strategies and implement GCIB initiatives.
  • Identify new business opportunities and coordinate with other business areas.

Main Responsibilities

  • Ensure implementation of strategies to achieve volume, revenue, and profit targets.
  • Support EVP International Corporate in developing KPIs for performance monitoring.
  • Meet target budgets for client relationships.
  • Coordinate with branches and subsidiaries to review financial performance.
  • Implement KPIs and best practices for International Corporate Relationship Management.
  • Promote cost consciousness and efficiency.
  • Act within delegated authority and monitor staff.
  • Coordinate with international and regional branches and support functions.
  • Provide one point of contact for clients and ensure superior customer service.
  • Maintain and enhance core bank relationships with existing and new clients.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory policies and procedures.
  • Manage, coach, and motivate the team.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • University graduate preferably with a major in banking; Masters preferred.
  • At least 15 years of relevant experience, preferably within a highly rated international bank.
  • Well informed of market competitive structures, industry practices, and regulations.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Arabic.
  • Excellent people relationship skills and awareness of risk management.
  • Understanding of laws and practices pertaining to corporate banking products.
  • Ability to make decisions and follow through.
  • Personal integrity and self management.
  • Planning, organizing, and analytical ability.
  • Results oriented.
  • Ability to motivate and lead diverse teams.
  • Familiar with balanced scorecard approach.
