- Conduct routine site inspections and audits to ensure QHSE compliance
- Monitor recycling operations for safe work practices and environmental protection
- Identify hazards and environmental risks; report findings and follow up on corrective actions
- Support implementation and maintenance of ISO standards
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and QHSE awareness training
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and non conformances; prepare reports and recommend preventive actions
- Ensure proper use of PPE and compliance with site safety rules
- Monitor environmental controls such as spill prevention, waste storage, emissions
- Maintain QHSE records, inspection checklists, permits, and reports
- Coordinate with operations teams, supervisors, and contractors to improve QHSE performance

Job Purpose
- To monitor, inspect, and ensure compliance with Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) standards across recycling operations, in line with Veolia policies, local regulations, and international standards.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct routine site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with QHSE policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
- Monitor recycling operations to ensure safe work practices, proper waste handling, segregation, and environmental protection.
- Identify hazards, unsafe acts, and environmental risks; report findings and follow up on corrective actions.
- Support implementation and maintenance of ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001), as applicable.
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and QHSE awareness training for employees and contractors.
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and non conformances; prepare reports and recommend preventive actions.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and compliance with site safety rules.
- Monitor environmental controls such as spill prevention, waste storage, emissions, and housekeeping.
- Verify compliance of equipment, vehicles, and facilities with safety and environmental requirements.
- Maintain QHSE records, inspection checklists, permits, and reports in an accurate and timely manner.
- Coordinate with operations teams, supervisors, and contractors to improve QHSE performance.
- Support emergency preparedness drills and response activities.
