Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming materials and verify compliance with approved requirements
- Monitor fabrication, welding, dimensional control, surface preparation, and painting activities
- Perform fit up inspections, dimensional checks, and visual inspections
- Conduct dimensional verification using measuring equipment
- Identify and report non conformities and assist in corrective actions
- Prepare and maintain inspection reports, quality records, and checklists
- Collect and prepare material and product samples for testing
- Perform routine quality tests on raw materials, fresh concrete, and finished interlock blocks
- Record and maintain accurate test results and reports
- Clean and maintain laboratory equipment and ensure lab safety
Requirements

Job Overview
- Al Holla Concrete Technology is hiring a Quality Inspector for steel fabrication and a Lab QC Technician for interlock blocks.
- The Quality Inspector ensures fabrication, welding, dimensional control, surface preparation, and painting comply with project specifications.
- The Lab Technician supports the QC team by testing raw materials, concrete, and finished interlock blocks.
Quality Inspector Responsibilities
- Review approved shop drawings, specifications, inspection procedures, and relevant standards before inspection activities.
- Inspect incoming materials and verify material identification, traceability, and compliance.
- Monitor fabrication operations to ensure compliance with approved production and quality requirements.
- Perform fit up inspections, welding inspections, dimensional checks, and visual inspections of fabricated bridge components.
- Conduct dimensional verification using measuring equipment such as tapes, levels, alignment gauges, dumpy levels, and total stations.
- Inspect surface preparation, abrasive blasting, and painting activities for compliance.
- Witness and record inspection and test results, including dimensions, temperatures, coating thicknesses.
- Identify and report non conformities and assist in implementing corrective actions.
- Coordinate inspection activities with production personnel, welding supervisors, and QA/QC engineers.
- Ensure only calibrated inspection and measuring equipment are used.
- Prepare and maintain inspection reports, quality records, checklists, and other QA/QC documentation.
- Verify compliance with AWS D1.5, project specifications, approved procedures, and ITPs.
Lab Technician Responsibilities
- Collect and prepare material and product samples for testing.
- Perform routine quality tests on raw materials, fresh concrete, and finished interlock blocks.
- Record and maintain accurate test results and reports.
- Clean and maintain laboratory equipment and testing tools.
- Report any quality issues or non conforming products to the QC Manager.
- Maintain laboratory cleanliness, safety, and inventory.
- Follow company quality procedures and health & safety requirements.
- Support quality inspections and other duties assigned by the QC Manager.
Qualifications
- Experience in quality inspection for steel fabrication or interlock block production.
- Knowledge of welding, dimensional control, surface preparation, and painting standards.
- Familiarity with AWS D1.5 and project specifications is preferred.
- Ability to use measuring equipment such as tapes, levels, total stations.
- Experience in material and concrete testing.
- Ability to maintain laboratory equipment and records.
