The Quality Control Inspector II conducts more complex inspections of sub‑assemblies, parts, fibers, and/or clean room products to ensure conformance with established quality standards.
This role independently interprets work orders, drawings, and specifications, applies defined inspection criteria, and assigns failure modes in accordance with SOPs.

Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of two years demonstrated experience performing inspections in a manufacturing or quality environment, usually as an entry level Quality Inspector.
- Ability to read and interpret work orders, drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and sound judgment in applying inspection criteria.
- Proficiency with precision measurement and inspection tools.
- Basic computer skills for documentation and data entry.
Preferred
Technical or vocational training in manufacturing, quality, electronics, optics, or a related field.
Experience in clean room or regulated manufacturing environments.
Familiarity with root cause concepts and quality documentation practices.
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
- Manufacturing and/or clean room environment.
- Ability to stand, sit, bend, reach, and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift between 15-30 lbs depending on department with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Frequent handling of small or delicate components requiring fine motor skills.
- Compliance with all PPE and safety requirements.
