Duties and responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and direct quality control programs according to applicable standards.
- Develop standards for inspections and testing procedures.
- Conduct inspections and audits against project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and technicians to resolve quality-related issues.
- Manage equipment lifting and hazardous-material storage requirements.
- Analyze products and non-conformance processes and review quality documentation.
- Prepare monthly reports to evaluate performance.
- Discuss inspection results and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate and perform internal and external audits.
- Support welding and non-destructive testing qualification and test activities.
- Monitor quality assurance processes and recommend corrective actions.
- Participate in audits, reviews, and certifications for ISO and other quality management systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required, specifically Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
- A quality control-related certification is preferable.
- Internal or Lead Auditor qualification is listed for ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018.
Skills and knowledge
- Strong knowledge of water treatment processes, technologies, and regulatory requirements.
- Knowledge of water treatment equipment and machinery.
- Knowledge of risk management, project management, and production management.
- Experience with water leak testing of wastewater treatment equipment.
- Attention to detail and documentation capability.
