Responsibilities
- Perform inspection and quality control activities for mechanical systems including HVAC, piping, and MEP installations
- Review and verify shop drawings, method statements, ITPs, and material submittals
- Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, and applicable codes
- Inspect installation of HVAC systems including ducting, insulation, chilled water piping, and equipment
- Witness and verify testing and commissioning activities including pressure testing, air balancing, and functional testing
- Ensure proper documentation of all inspections, including inspection reports, checklists, and NCRs
- Monitor contractor activities and ensure adherence to quality procedures and project requirements
- Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and consultants to resolve quality issues
- Ensure compliance with HSE requirements during all inspection activities
Requirements
- Experience in inspection and quality control for mechanical systems (HVAC, piping, MEP)
- Ability to review shop drawings, method statements, ITPs, and material submittals
- Knowledge of testing and commissioning activities (pressure testing, air balancing, functional testing)
- Proficiency in documentation including inspection reports, checklists, and NCRs
- Familiarity with HSE requirements during inspection activities

Key Responsibilities
- Perform inspection and quality control activities for mechanical systems, including HVAC, piping, and MEP installations.
- Review and verify shop drawings, method statements, ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans), and material submittals.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, and applicable codes and standards.
- Inspect installation of HVAC systems including ducting and insulation, chilled water piping systems, and equipment installation (AHUs, FCUs, chillers, pumps, etc.).
- Witness and verify testing and commissioning activities, including pressure testing, air balancing and system performance testing, and equipment functional testing.
- Ensure proper documentation of all inspections, including inspection reports, checklists, and NCRs (Non Conformance Reports).
- Monitor contractor activities and ensure adherence to quality procedures and project requirements.
- Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and consultants to resolve quality issues.
- Ensure compliance with HSE requirements during all inspection activities.
