Role responsibilities
- Inspect materials, workmanship, and activities for compliance with project specifications and RTA standards.
- Review material deliveries, test certificates, and inspection reports before acceptance.
- Conduct site inspections for civil, structural, and utility works against approved drawings and quality procedures.
- Prepare inspection requests, non-conformance reports, and corrective-action records.
- Coordinate inspections and approvals with site engineers, consultants, and subcontractors.
- Assist with method statements, inspection and test plans, and quality checklists.
- Ensure concrete, asphalt, soil, and other material testing follows project and RTA requirements.
- Monitor concrete pouring, compaction, backfilling, and finishing activities for compliance.
- Report deviations and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
- Participate in quality audits and implement recommendations.
- Support monthly quality reports and handover dossiers.
- Ensure works follow ISO 9001 quality management systems.
Requirements
- Ensure civil, structural, and utility works conform to approved drawings, project specifications, quality procedures, and RTA standards.
- Ensure material testing for concrete, asphalt, soil, and related materials follows project and RTA requirements.
- Execute and document quality activities in accordance with ISO 9001 quality management systems.
