Role Overview
The role performs QA/QC activities at various stages of service realization for oil and gas products and services.
Work must comply with API Q1, API Q2, international standards, regulatory requirements, customer expectations, and internal procedures.
Requirements and Qualifications
- A minimum of two years of QA/QC experience is required.
- Hands-on TMMDE experience and calibration experience under API and applicable international standards are required.
- Higher Secondary education or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or a similar engineering discipline is required.
- Prior oil and gas experience, fluent English reading and speaking, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications are required.
- The role requires independent work, collaboration, adaptability, and strong attention to detail.
- Machine shop inspection, downhole tools, and additional ISO, ASTM, or DS-1 knowledge are preferred or advantageous.
Inspection and Quality Control
- Perform in-process and final inspections using drawings, work orders, route cards, specifications, and OEM requirements.
- Inspect purchased items, repaired tools, and outsourced processed materials.
- Identify, monitor, and document critical-to-quality characteristics under API Q1 and API Q2.
