Overview
We are hiring an experienced
Qa Qc Engineer
for a Marine Infrastructure & Tubular Piling Project in Iraq on a short-term assignment basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle overall QAQC activities for marine infrastructure, port construction, tubular piling, and marine piling projects
- Ensure implementation of project quality procedures, method statements, quality plans, and inspection requirements
- Conduct inspections for tubular piling, steel piling, sheet piling, welding activities, concrete works, structural activities, and marine construction operations
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, third-party inspectors, and project teams for inspections and approvals
- Prepare QAQC reports, NCRs, corrective actions, inspection records, punch lists, and project quality documentation
- Monitor material approvals, testing activities, laboratory reports, and compliance with project specifications and international standards
- Review drawings, technical specifications, procedures, and material submittals to ensure project quality compliance
- Ensure compliance with project quality standards, procedures, HSE requirements, and client quality expectations
- Monitor site execution activities to ensure workmanship and construction quality meet approved standards
- Conduct internal quality audits, site inspections, surveillance activities, and quality awareness sessions
- Coordinate with procurement and site teams regarding material inspections, vendor documentation, and quality approvals
- Maintain QA QC records, as-built documentation, calibration records, and final handover documents
- Support project closeout activities and ensure timely resolution of quality-related issues and NCRs
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards, project quality management systems, and client inspection requirements
