About the Role
Hisn Al Fahidi Aluminum seeks a QA/QC Engineer with minimum 5 years of experience in the aluminum industry. The role involves ensuring materials and installations comply with project specifications, conducting inspections, and maintaining QA/QC documentation.

Responsibilities
- Ensure all materials and installation works comply with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and client requirements
- Conduct inspections of incoming materials, fabrication works, and site installations
- Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation, including Inspection Requests (IRs), Material Inspection Requests (MIRs), checklists, NCRs, and quality reports
- Coordinate inspections with consultants, clients, and site teams
- Monitor workmanship and identify quality issues during fabrication and installation
- Report non conformities and follow up on corrective and preventive actions until closure
- Maintain records of inspections, approvals, and quality related documents
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Production, and Technical teams to ensure quality compliance
- Participate in internal quality audits and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure all completed works meet contractual requirements before handover
- Assist in resolving quality related issues and provide technical support when required
- Promote compliance with company quality policies and project quality objectives
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the Aluminum Industry
- Strong knowledge of Quality Assurance and Quality Control procedures for aluminum and glazing works
- Familiarity with project specifications, approved shop drawings, material submittals, and relevant industry standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good documentation and reporting skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
- Knowledge of inspection procedures, testing methods, and quality documentation
