About the Role

Responsibilities
- Review and comment on ITPs submitted by repair contractor
- Conduct pre repair inspections to verify correct identification, isolation and preparation
- Witness and document ITP hold points and witness points
- Inspect completed repairs and verify conformance with method statement, specification and drawings
- Raise Non Conformance Reports (NCRs) and track to resolution
- Review contractor material submittals and Method Statements
- Review post repair CCTV inspection footage and reports
- Maintain complete QA/QC records register
- Provide QA/QC input to monthly progress reports
- Liaise with Quantity Surveyor to ensure uninspected works are not accepted for payment
- Support technical team in identifying recurring repair failures
- Ensure all quality records are filed in project document management system
Requirements
- Engineering degree in Civil, Mechanical or equivalent
- Minimum 6 years post graduate experience, at least 3 in QA/QC inspection on infrastructure projects
- Experience developing and implementing ITPs and Method Statements
- Experience with CIPP relining or pipe rehabilitation strongly preferred
- Familiarity with CCTV sewer inspection interpretation
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, EN 13508 or equivalent standards
- Valid UAE driving licence

What You Will Be Doing
- The QA/QC Engineer / Inspector is responsible for inspecting all repair and refurbishment works and verifying compliance with SUEZ issued method statements, ITPs, approved material specifications and contract requirements.
- The role is the primary quality assurance interface between SUEZ and the repair contractor.
- Key responsibilities include reviewing ITPs, conducting pre repair inspections, witnessing ITP hold points, inspecting completed repairs, raising NCRs, reviewing material submittals, reviewing CCTV footage, maintaining QA/QC records, providing input to progress reports, liaising with Quantity Survey
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Engineering degree in Civil, Mechanical or equivalent discipline from a recognized university.
- Minimum 6 years of post graduate experience, of which at least 3 years in QA/QC inspection or supervision on infrastructure or utility network projects.
- Demonstrable experience in developing, reviewing and implementing ITPs and Method Statements.
- Experience with CIPP relining, pipe rehabilitation or underground utility repair works is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with CCTV sewer inspection interpretation and post repair verification.
- Knowledge of relevant standards: ISO 9001, EN 13508 (sewer condition assessment) or equivalent.
- A recognised QA/QC qualification (e.g., ISO 9001 Internal Auditor, IRCA Lead Auditor or equivalent) is an advantage.
- Valid UAE driving licence — field travel across Abu Dhabi required.
