QA Engineer – Salesforce & Enterprise Applications

Role Overview

Work Schedule

• The standard schedule is Monday through Friday from 12:30 PM to 9:30 PM IST in the employee’s local time zone.
• Business needs may occasionally require earlier, later, or additional hours with reasonable notice when possible.

Job Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and acceptance criteria from a QA perspective to ensure they are complete, consistent, and testable.
• Identify requirement gaps, edge cases, dependencies, and quality risks early in the software development lifecycle.
• Develop test plans, scenarios, cases, test data, and execution documentation.
• Perform functional, integration, end-to-end, regression, and negative testing for Salesforce and enterprise systems.
• Test Salesforce processes, Flows, validation rules, objects, fields, permissions, profiles, record types, and customizations.
• Automate reusable regression tests with Copado Robotic Testing.
• Test APIs, middleware, scheduled processes, and inbound and outbound integrations.
• Perform data migration and validation testing for mapping, completeness, accuracy, synchronization, and exceptions.
• Document defects, retest fixes, and perform appropriate regression testing.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide QA estimates, status updates, and quality risks.
• Collaborate on QA process improvement, automation coverage, defect prevention, and software quality.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of experience as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer.
• At least 3 years of experience testing Salesforce applications on Sales Cloud or Service Cloud.
• At least 2 years of experience with Salesforce, Copado, or related QA/test automation certifications.
• At least 2 years of experience with functional, integration, end-to-end, regression, and negative testing.
• At least 2 years of experience with test automation, preferably Copado Robotic Testing or similar tools.
• At least 2 years of experience with data migration, data conversion, or large-scale data validation testing.
• At least 2 years of experience in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience testing REST/SOAP APIs and integration platforms.
• At least 1 year of experience with Jira, Salesforce DevOps processes, and version-control practices.
