Work Schedule
- This is an initial one-year contract position , and the role is assigned to a second-shift schedule . with standard business hours of Monday through Friday, 12.30 PM IST – 9.30 PM IST in your local time zone. Business needs may occasionally require flexibility in work hours, including earlier, later, or additional hours, with reasonable notice provided when possible.
Job Responsibilities
- Analyze user stories, business requirements, solution designs, and acceptance criteria from a QA perspective to ensure requirements are complete, consistent, and testable.
- Identify requirement gaps, edge cases, dependencies, and quality risks early in the software development lifecycle and work with Business Analysts, Product Owners, and Developers to clarify expected behavior.
Technical Oversight
Develop and maintain test plans, test scenarios, test cases, test data, and test execution documentation.
Perform rigorous functional, integration, end-to-end, regression, and negative testing for Salesforce applications and related enterprise systems.
Test Salesforce functionality including business processes, Flows, validation rules, objects, fields, permissions, profiles, record types, and other configuration and customization.
Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test cases using Copado Robotic Testing , with a focus on reusable and maintainable regression automation.
Evaluate existing and new test cases to identify opportunities to improve automation coverage, regression coverage, and overall testing effectiveness.
Test integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise applications, including APIs, middleware, scheduled processes, and inbound/outbound interfaces.
Perform data migration and data validation testing, including field mapping, record counts, data completeness, accuracy, transformation, synchronization, and exception handling.
Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps, severity, supporting evidence, and business impact; retest fixes and perform appropriate regression testing.
Participate in Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, demonstrations, and retrospectives, and provide QA estimates, status updates, and quality risks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve QA processes, test automation, regression coverage, defect prevention, and overall software quality.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8 years or more experience as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer.
- 3 years or more experience testing Salesforce platform applications on Sales Cloud or Service Cloud.
- 2 years or more experience in Salesforce, Copado, or related QA/test automation certifications.
- 2 years or more experience performing functional, integration, end-to-end, regression, and negative testing.
- 2 years or more experience with test automation, preferably Copado Robotic Testing , or similar enterprise test automation tools.
- 2 years or more experience with data migration, data conversion, or large-scale data validation testing.
- 2 years or more experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 year or more experience testing REST/SOAP APIs and integration platforms
- 1 year or more experience with Jira, Salesforce DevOps processes, and version-control practices.
Certifications
Salesforce certifications. Professional certifications such as ISTQB, ASTQB, CSTE, CSQA, CQSE

Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with attention to detail.
Strong experience analyzing user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria and translating them into comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, defect-management, and communication skills.
Strong command of the English language. Fluent in speaking and writing English.
Ability to independently analyze requirements and identify quality risks before testing begins.
Strong ownership of testing outcomes and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
Ability to effectively balance comprehensive testing with Agile delivery timelines.
Strong collaboration and communication skills across business and technical teams.
Ability to continuously identify opportunities to improve testing efficiency, automation coverage, and quality processes.
