Role Overview

Work Schedule

• The standard schedule is Monday through Friday, 12:30 PM IST to 9:30 PM IST in the employee’s local time zone.
• Business needs may occasionally require earlier, later, or additional hours with reasonable notice when possible.

Job Responsibilities

• Analyze user stories, business requirements, solution designs, and acceptance criteria to ensure requirements are complete, consistent, and testable.
• Identify requirement gaps, edge cases, dependencies, and quality risks, and work with Business Analysts, Product Owners, and Developers to clarify expected behavior.

Technical Oversight

• Develop and maintain test plans, test scenarios, test cases, test data, and test execution documentation.
• Perform functional, integration, end-to-end, regression, and negative testing for Salesforce applications and related enterprise systems.
• Test Salesforce business processes, Flows, validation rules, objects, fields, permissions, profiles, record types, configurations, and customizations.
• Design, develop, execute, and maintain reusable automated test cases using Copado Robotic Testing.
• Evaluate test cases to improve automation coverage, regression coverage, and testing effectiveness.
• Test Salesforce integrations with enterprise applications, including APIs, middleware, scheduled processes, and inbound and outbound interfaces.
• Perform data migration and validation testing for mappings, record counts, completeness, accuracy, transformation, synchronization, and exception handling.
• Document and track defects, retest fixes, and perform appropriate regression testing.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, provide QA estimates and status updates, and communicate quality risks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve QA processes, automation, regression coverage, defect prevention, and software quality.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of experience as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer.
• At least 3 years of experience testing Salesforce platform applications on Sales Cloud or Service Cloud.
• At least 2 years of experience with Salesforce, Copado, or related QA/test automation certifications.
• At least 2 years of experience in functional, integration, end-to-end, regression, and negative testing.
• At least 2 years of experience with test automation, preferably Copado Robotic Testing or similar enterprise tools.
• At least 2 years of experience with data migration, data conversion, or large-scale data validation testing.
• At least 2 years of experience in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience testing REST/SOAP APIs and integration platforms.
• At least 1 year of experience with Jira, Salesforce DevOps processes, and version-control practices.
