Role Overview

Work Schedule

• The role is assigned to a second-shift schedule.
• Standard hours are Monday through Friday, 12:30 PM to 9:30 PM IST in the employee’s local time zone.
• Business needs may require flexibility for earlier, later, or additional hours with reasonable notice when possible.

QA Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and acceptance criteria to ensure they are complete, consistent, and testable.
• Identify quality risks, gaps, edge cases, and dependencies early in development.
• Create and maintain test plans, scenarios, cases, data, and execution documentation.
• Perform functional, integration, end-to-end, regression, and negative testing.
• Test Salesforce configurations, customizations, permissions, objects, fields, and business processes.
• Automate regression tests using Copado Robotic Testing.
• Test Salesforce integrations, APIs, middleware, scheduled processes, and interfaces.
• Perform data migration, conversion, and validation testing.
• Track defects, retest fixes, and perform regression testing.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide QA estimates, status updates, and quality risks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve QA processes, automation, coverage, and defect prevention.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of experience as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer.
• At least 3 years of experience testing Salesforce applications on Sales Cloud or Service Cloud.
• At least 2 years of experience with Salesforce, Copado, or related QA/test automation certifications.
• At least 2 years of experience with functional, integration, end-to-end, regression, and negative testing.
• At least 2 years of experience with test automation.
• At least 2 years of experience with data migration, data conversion, or large-scale data validation testing.
• At least 2 years of experience in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience testing REST/SOAP APIs and integration platforms is preferred.
• Experience with Jira, Salesforce DevOps processes, and version-control practices is preferred.

Certifications

• Salesforce certifications are listed.
• Professional certifications such as ISTQB, ASTQB, CSTE, CSQA, and CQSE are listed.
