Role Overview
QA Engineer Intern responsible for the testing layer across payment flows, APIs, and end-to-end product journeys.
The role works closely with backend and full-stack developers to identify issues before they reach users.
What You Will Do
- Design, write, and execute tests for payment flows, API endpoints, and product features.
- Perform functional, regression, edge-case, and end-to-end testing across web and mobile surfaces.
- Specialize in payment gateway testing, including transaction simulation, failure scenarios, and webhook validation.
- Write automated test scripts using tools such as Postman, Playwright, or Cypress.
- Document bugs with reproduction steps, environment details, and severity classification.
- Maintain test plans and reports and track bug resolution with developers.
- Participate in sprint planning and flag quality risks before production.
- Build and maintain a regression test suite as the product evolves.
Must-Haves
- BE or B.Tech degree, or final-year study, in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of unit, integration, and end-to-end testing principles.
- Familiarity with REST APIs and tools such as Postman.
- Ability to read and understand basic JavaScript or Python code.
