QA Automation Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Playwright Automation Engineer to lead automation strategy, build scalable frameworks and drive quality excellence across our products.

Architect and enhance scalable automation frameworks using Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript/Python).

Develop automated tests for UI, API, cross-browser, and cross-platform scenarios.

Implement advanced features: network mocking, tracing, visual validation, test data management.

Integrate Playwright test suites into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps).

Evaluate new tools and frameworks to improve automation efficiency and reliability.

Perform pull request (PR) reviews, enforce coding standards, and support clean code practices.

Manage Git workflows, including branching, merging, and resolving conflicts.

Lead automation initiatives across multiple teams/projects.

Collaborate with Developers, Product Owners, and QA teams to ensure high test coverage.

Participate in sprint planning, design discussions, and risk assessments.

Required Skills & Experience 8+ years in QA automation, including 5+ years hands-on Playwright expertise.

Strong coding experience in TypeScript/JavaScript/Python.

Deep understanding of HTML, DOM, CSS, JavaScript events, REST APIs.

Expertise in Page Object Model (POM), BDD/TDD, and modern test design.

Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis skills.

managing large test suites and reducing test flakiness.

Hands-on experience with Git, branching strategies, and CI/CD tools.

Nice to Have Knowledge of security, accessibility, or performance testing.
