Role overview
Join the Client Success Team as a Python Software Engineer supporting the Validus Horizon platform.
Own small-to-medium-scope enhancements from idea through production and measurable business impact.
Translate complex financial and operational requirements into robust, scalable solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of Horizon features from technical design through deployment and post-release feedback.
- Own multiple concurrent Client Success Team initiatives with clear communication and accountability.
- Design full-stack solutions across backend services, APIs, data pipelines, databases, and frontend components.
- Build and maintain ETL processes for ingestion, validation, transformation, reporting, SFTP, and API integrations.
- Refine requirements, define acceptance criteria, quantify business value, and contribute to technical estimates.
- Improve performance, reliability, and scalability across RiskView, TradeView, PortfolioView, and other Horizon components.
- Mentor colleagues and uphold standards for code quality, documentation, testing, and delivery.
- Present technical solutions, trade-offs, and roadmaps to stakeholders and clients.
