Fundment is seeking an experienced Python Software Engineer for its product engineering team.
The role builds and evolves secure, scalable, and maintainable backend systems for the company's investment platform.
The engineer will build APIs, backend systems, and internal tools supporting operations and client-facing functionality.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Design, build, and maintain APIs, backend services, and internal systems.
- Develop data-driven workflows and third-party integrations using asynchronous processing and event-driven architecture.
- Contribute to technical direction, architecture, scalability, performance, and reliability decisions.
- Write clean code focused on maintainability, observability, and security.
- Investigate distributed-system issues, identify root causes, and implement long-term solutions.
- Collaborate with Product, Operations, and engineering teams on business-driven solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and shared team practices.
- Mentor peers and help grow a high-trust engineering culture.
