Roles and responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Python with Django, FastAPI, or Flask.
- Architect and deploy cloud-native infrastructure and microservices on AWS.
- Implement serverless functions and event-driven architectures using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, S3, and DynamoDB or RDS.
- Write clean, testable, and efficient code focused on security and performance.
- Collaborate with DevOps, QA, and Product teams to deliver end-to-end features.
Key requirements
- Strong Python fundamentals with hands-on experience in FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
- Practical experience with AWS services including Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, and SQS/SNS.
- Proficiency with relational and non-relational databases.
- Good understanding of Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and Git.
- Experience designing, building, and consuming RESTful web services.
Nice-to-haves
- Exposure to Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or AWS CDK.
- Experience with event-driven or microservices architecture.
- AWS certification such as AWS Certified Developer – Associate or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
