- Source fabrics, trims, accessories, and finished garments from trusted suppliers in India, China, and Bangladesh
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost effectiveness, and timely delivery
- Conduct costing analysis for materials and finished goods, ensuring accurate and competitive pricing
- Negotiate terms, prices, and delivery schedules with suppliers
- Collaborate with design, merchandising, and production teams to understand purchasing needs
- Track and manage purchase orders, shipping schedules, and inventory levels
- Evaluate supplier performance regularly and ensure compliance with quality and delivery standards
- Monitor market trends and sourcing opportunities to reduce costs and improve supply chain efficiency
- Ensure all procurement documentation is accurate and compliant with company policies
- Travel locally and internationally as needed to visit suppliers, attend sourcing trips, or industry trade shows
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of purchasing experience in the garments/apparel industry
- In depth knowledge of fabric types, garment construction, trims, and production processes
- Proven costing and pricing analysis skills in the fashion or apparel sector
- Strong sourcing network and established relationships with vendors in India, China, and Bangladesh
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficient in MS Office and sourcing/ERP software
- Valid driving license and ability to travel when required

Job Overview
- We are looking for an experienced and detail oriented Purchasing Officer with a strong background in the garments/apparel industry.
