- Process purchase requisitions, prepare and track purchase orders, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services from vendors
- Evaluate supplier proposals, assist with contract negotiation, and maintain accurate purchasing records
- Analyze purchasing data to optimize costs, ensure compliance with internal policies, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand and meet purchasing needs
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of purchasing processes, including handling purchase orders and purchase requisitions
- Skills in contract negotiation, with the ability to compare supplier offers and support favorable terms
- Analytical skills to evaluate costs, track spending, and identify opportunities for efficiency
- Effective communication and relationship building skills to work with vendors and internal teams
- Solid organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple procurement tasks in a part time schedule
- Experience in procurement, supply chain, or finance roles, preferably in an international or regional business environment (beneficial)
- Familiarity with basic procurement or ERP software and proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) (beneficial)
- Relevant diploma or degree in business, supply chain management, finance, or related field (beneficial)

Role Description
- The Purchasing Officer is a part time role responsible for managing procurement activities that support the network’s operations and events.
- The role is hybrid, based in Dubai with the flexibility to perform some duties from home.
Day to day Responsibilities
- Processing purchase requisitions, preparing and tracking purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services from vendors.
- Evaluating supplier proposals, assisting with contract negotiation, and maintaining accurate purchasing records.
