Role Description
- The Inventory Controller is a part time hybrid role based in Dubai, with a combination of on site work and some work from home.
- This role is responsible for monitoring stock levels, recording inventory movements, and maintaining accurate inventory data across warehouses and offices.
- Day to day tasks include performing regular stock checks, reconciling discrepancies, updating inventory systems, and preparing basic reports to support purchasing and logistics decisions.
- The Inventory Controller collaborates with operations and finance teams to ensure stock availability, minimize losses, and improve overall stock efficiency.
- The role also involves communicating inventory issues, suggesting improvements to stock processes, and following established procedures and compliance guidelines.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Stock Control and Inventory Control skills, with experience tracking and reconciling stock levels.
- Candidates should possess Stock Management skills, including maintaining records, supporting reordering, and helping to optimize stock turnover.
- Candidates should possess Analytical Skills to interpret inventory data, identify variances, and support data driven decisions.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to coordinate with internal teams and clearly report inventory status and issues.
- Experience with inventory or ERP software, spreadsheets, and basic reporting tools.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to follow structured processes.
- Previous experience in inventory, logistics, or operations roles is preferred.
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment and manage time effectively in a hybrid work arrangement.
