- The Purchasing Manager will oversee the full purchasing cycle, manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and collaborate with internal departments to support smooth and efficient manufacturing operations.
Key Accountabilities
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with the company's operational goals and budget requirements.
- Manage the full purchasing cycle, from identifying needs and sourcing suppliers to negotiating prices and ensuring timely delivery.
- Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery timelines, and service levels.
- Negotiate contracts, payment terms, pricing, and supply agreements to achieve the best value for the company.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with agreed terms, quality standards, and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate with production, warehouse, finance, and operations teams to ensure purchasing activities support business needs.
- Analyze purchasing costs and identify cost saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records, reports, supplier databases, and documentation.
- Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
