Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for food, beverages, and related supplies
- Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions with suppliers
- Maintain good relationships with existing suppliers and source new suppliers as needed
- Prepare and process purchase orders for food and beverage items
- Ensure timely delivery of goods and services, especially perishable items
- Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand to ensure timely procurement
- Review and analyze all vendors/suppliers, supply, and price options
- Monitor purchase expenses and manage the procurement budget
- Seek opportunities for cost saving measures and negotiate discounts
- Ensure all purchases comply with company policies and food safety standards
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other relevant data
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of purchasing experience in the restaurant/F&B industry
- Knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)
- Supplier reconciliation & petty cash management
- Stock audits, cost control & monthly cost analysis
- Good Excel skills and attention to detail

Job Summary
- The Purchasing cum Junior Accounts Executive is responsible for managing the procurement of food, beverages, operating supplies, and other business requirements while supporting the Finance Department with day to day accounting functions.
- The role ensures timely purchasing, cost control, accurate financial documentation, supplier coordination, and compliance with company policies.
Purchasing Duties
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for food, beverages, and related supplies.
- Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions with suppliers.
- Maintain good relationships with existing suppliers and source new suppliers as needed.
- Prepare and process purchase orders for food and beverage items.
- Ensure the timely delivery of goods and services, especially perishable items.
