Responsibilities
- Purchase food products, beverages, packaging materials, cleaning supplies, and kitchen equipment according to operational requirements
- Source and evaluate suppliers based on quality, pricing, reliability, and delivery performance
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and contracts with vendors to achieve cost savings
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with chefs and kitchen management to forecast purchasing needs
- Generate purchase orders and track deliveries to ensure timely receipt of goods
- Verify received products against purchase orders and quality specifications
- Maintain accurate purchasing, inventory, and supplier records
- Conduct regular market research to identify new products, suppliers, and cost saving opportunities
- Coordinate with the finance department regarding invoices, payments, and budget compliance
- Ensure all purchased products meet food safety, hygiene, and regulatory requirements
- Monitor stock usage and minimize waste through effective inventory control
- Resolve supplier issues related to shortages, quality concerns, and delivery delays
Requirements
- 5 years of F&B Purchaser experience
- Understand Arabic
