Responsibilities
- Monitor and track purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Follow up with suppliers regarding order status, production progress, shipment schedules, and delivery commitments.
- Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams to align material availability with operational requirements.
- Identify potential delivery delays and proactively escalate issues to avoid supply disruptions.
- Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, supplier acknowledgements, delivery updates, and communications.
- Verify order confirmations and ensure compliance with agreed commercial terms, specifications, quantities, and delivery schedules.
- Support supplier performance evaluations by maintaining delivery tracking records and preparing performance reports.
- Update Infor with real time purchase order status, delivery information, and relevant documentation.
- Assist in resolving discrepancies related to material quantity, quality, specifications, documentation, or delivery timelines.
- Prepare expediting reports and provide regular order status updates to the reporting manager.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers to improve communication and responsiveness.
- Provide sourcing support to procurement executives by identifying and coordinating with suitable local market suppliers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
- 2–5 years of experience in purchase expediting, procurement, supply chain, or vendor coordination
- Valid UAE driving licence
- Experience in engineering, manufacturing, industrial, or oil and gas environment preferred
- Experience using Infor or similar ERP system preferred

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Relevant certification in procurement or supply chain management will be an advantage.
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in purchase expediting, procurement, supply chain, or vendor coordination.
- Experience in an engineering, manufacturing, industrial, or oil and gas environment is preferred.
- Experience using Infor or a similar ERP system will be an advantage.
Mandatory Requirement
- Valid UAE driving licence is mandatory, as the role requires regular supplier visits and local market coordination.
