Role Overview
The role manages end-to-end material procurement for construction and real estate projects.
The position coordinates material requirements with architects, consultants, site engineers, contractors, and project teams.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute material procurement for construction projects.
- Prepare material requirement schedules from drawings, BOQs, and BIM models.
- Extract quantities from BIM models and use BBS data for procurement planning and steel estimation.
- Float enquiries, evaluate quotations, negotiate rates, and finalize vendors.
- Track material deliveries, inventory, and site consumption.
- Monitor consumption against BIM- and BBS-based quantities to control wastage.
- Maintain procurement MIS, vendor databases, GRNs, and reconciliation statements.
- Support cost control, audits, and project cost reviews.
- Ensure materials comply with approved specifications, IS codes, and project standards.
Education and Experience
- B.E. Civil educational qualification.
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Relevant experience in the real estate industry.
