Thiess is seeking experienced Pump Crew Operators to join our high-performing team at the Eva Copper Mine Project, in the Cloncurry region of Queensland, Australia.

Set to become the largest copper mine in Northwest Queensland, the Eva Copper Mine is an iron oxide copper gold resource located on the traditional lands of the Kalkadoon People, approximately 75km north of Cloncurry and 95km north-east of Mount Isa.

By joining our team, you will have the opportunity to be a part of a new workforce that is focused on developing a strong performance culture and a culture that values everyone’s contribution equally.

As a Pump Hand, you will be required to:

Conduct assessment and inspections of dewatering pumps

Complete the welding and installation of HDPE pipelines

Complete accurately and timely service recording date on equipment

Complete basic effective maintenance

Ensure compliance with statutory legislation
