Role overview

Public Relations Officer role supporting construction and facility management divisions in the UAE.

Lead government relations and operational documentation across visas, permits, licensing, and compliance.

The listed location is Dubai / Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.

Compensation

  • Full-time employment with a monthly salary of AED 7,000–AED 9,000 based on experience.
  • Benefits include fuel or transport allowance, employment visa, medical insurance, annual air ticket, and end-of-service gratuity.

Must-have qualifications

  • High school diploma, diploma, or bachelor's degree.
  • 5–8 years of hands-on PRO experience in the UAE, including at least 4 years in construction, contracting, interior fit-out, or facility management.
  • Fluent written and spoken Arabic and English, including official Arabic correspondence drafting.
  • Expertise with UAE government portals and a deep understanding of labor law, immigration, municipality, and work permit requirements.
  • Valid UAE driving license, clean driving record, personal vehicle, and strong negotiation, problem-solving, and crisis management skills.

Visa and workforce legalization

  • Manage visa applications, quotas, labor contracts, entry permits, status changes, medical tests, biometrics, residence stamping, cancellations, transfers, and appeals.
  • Process work permits and renewals for site, facility management, and blue-collar personnel.
  • Audit employee status, grace periods, and renewal deadlines.

Government and municipal approvals

  • Liaise with MOHRE, GDRFA, DED, DHA, ICP, RTA, DEWA, Dubai Municipality, Civil Defence, and Sharjah Municipality.
  • Secure commercial licenses, civil defense approvals, site work permits, utility clearances, trade license renewals, and corporate registrations.
  • Represent the company during inspections at site offices, labor camps, and headquarters.

Compliance and document control

  • Maintain repositories of corporate licenses, certificates, vehicle registrations, and legal deeds.
  • Track UAE labor law, immigration, fee, and government portal changes.
  • Prepare Arabic and English correspondence, NOCs, powers of attorney, and authorization letters.
  • Coordinate government transaction payments and receipts with HR and Finance.

Legal and administrative support

  • Resolve labor disputes, visa blocks, status delays, and immigration issues.
  • Support site labor mobilization, camp clearances, emergency escalations, airport clearance, and repatriation.
  • Maintain relationships with government officials and typing centers.

Preferred qualifications

  • Established government authority contacts, high-volume quota experience, and experience with site permits, safety clearances, and civil defense approvals are preferred.
  • Immediate availability or a notice period of no more than 1–2 weeks is preferred.
