PSD Engineer (2569)

Delivering a safe and reliable passenger service with a specific focus on engineering, maintenance and asset management for the Platform Screen Door Systems (PSD)

Manage his staff and maintenance activities in order to deliver safe & reliable assets

Ensure timely and accurate update in MMS for all preventive and corrective maintenance tasks

Maintain maintenance records, historical data/evidence and make these available whenever required

Checking and offering as fit for service any part of designated communications equipment* after installing, renewing, testing, maintaining, repairing or altering

Installing, renewing, testing, maintaining, repairing or altering designated PSD equipment* when no other person checks and takes responsibility for the work

Propose enhanced KPR/KPIs (such as but not limited to MTBF, MTTR, Availability) and review the asset performance on an ongoing basis with the inputs provided by MMS team

Perform training needs analysis and address staff competencies on an ongoing basis

Undertake technical audits and inspections as well as data records checks to ensure compliance and high standard quality, and provide recommendations

Take a proactive role in the Latent Defect and Warranty Processes in support of the Signalling & Telecom Manager

Ensure that root cause analysis is performed promptly for each incident

Introduce best maintenance practices leading to predictive maintenance
