Role overview
The Property Director is a high-profile, business-critical leadership role accountable for property strategy across wagamama's UK and Ireland restaurant estate.
The role supports sustainable growth through capital deployment for new openings and refurbishments and through property services for safe, efficient, resilient operations.
The role requires commercial judgement, collaborative leadership, stakeholder management, and disciplined execution.
New restaurant acquisition and openings
- Own and evolve the UK and Ireland acquisition strategy and deliver a high-quality pipeline of new restaurant openings in line with business plans and investment returns.
- Use customer insight, specialist advisers, and predictive modelling to maintain a data-led expansion map and identify attractive locations.
- Establish governance, decision gates, and reporting to manage pipeline risk and maintain legal and financial control.
- Provide property input into new-format trials and rollout plans.
Asset management and investment
- Lead core-estate lease events while balancing strategic, operational, and commercial priorities.
