Role Overview
Wolseley Canada is seeking a Regional Projects Supervisor to manage the Projects function and processes.
The role is responsible for timely and consistent project execution in line with policies, procedures, and requirements.
The position supports plumbing, HVAC/R, waterworks, and industrial product operations.
Project Operations
- Oversee the operation of the Projects department.
- Assess, manage, and delegate incoming project requests.
- Manage and delegate project management responsibilities.
- Organize the team network with customers and local branches for large project management requirements.
- Set up initial project management plans covering SPAs, delivery, resources, and related requirements.
- Oversee projects to ensure they remain intact through all levels of processing.
Commercial and Issue Management
- Oversee purchase order negotiations for generated re-quotes over $100,000.
- Assess and resolve escalated customer and vendor issues or escalate them to the Manager when required.
- Enforce best practices and current protocols affecting project management.
- Communicate and enforce changes affecting project processes.
Team Support and Procedures
- Assist or provide backup to team members as required.
- Adjust workflows to include new resources and provide insight for training on current processes and standard operating procedures.
- Train and enforce standard operating procedures.
- Lead, empower, and support the local team to promote professional and personal success.
- Perform ad hoc duties as required.
