Role overview
Wolseley Canada is hiring an Inside Sales Representative for its waterworks business.
The role supports inbound inquiries, sales orders, quotations, pricing, customer relationships, and product sales.
Responsibilities
- Complete orders, provide pricing terms within established margins, source additional products, and generate sales orders.
- Enter quotations and orders accurately into the system.
- Provide accurate pricing, inventory, and delivery information to customers.
- Make sales calls to new and existing customers to maintain relationships and cultivate additional business.
- Prepare quotations and process orders for outside sales staff.
- Respond to customer requests and inquiries promptly.
- Achieve sales targets and objectives set by the manager.
- Understand customer needs and promote and upsell products.
- Follow company safety policies and regulations.
Qualifications
- Computer literacy is required.
- Previous inside sales or related sales experience is preferred.
- Previous engineered waterworks product experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of the AS400 system is an asset.
- Post-secondary education in business administration, civil engineering technology, or a related discipline is an asset.
