Project Officer

THE ROLEWorking as a Project Officer in the Operational Policy team, you'll be part of a team developing practical, sustainable housing policies to guide the operation of services for Victoria's largest residential rental provider, Homes Victoria, acknowledging and reflecting continuous development in the strategic directions of government and the housing program. You'll be delivering these policies by collaborating across Homes Victoria, the department, government, advocates, partners and renters. Grounded in data, legislation, and on-the-ground insights, you'll be working on policies that focus on placing people at the centre to achieve the best outcomes in constrained service systems.ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDEContribute to the development and provision of advice and sound policy recommendations to senior management and government.Undertake research and contribute to the development of a range of policy and initiatives within resourcing, timeline and budget parameters.Assist the monitoring and reporting on high priority issues, risks and trends and assist to prepare and present comprehensive reports, ministerial briefs, cabinet and agency submissions on complex issues.Please open the position description to read more.HOW TO APPLYApplicants are encouraged to apply online.
