The role will be with Dubai Air Navigation Services, which provides air navigation services at four UAE airports.
Role Overview
The Project Manager - Trainee will support project management activities in Dubai.
The role is designed for a fresh graduate or someone with very limited practical experience and includes extensive departmental training.
Work Location
- The position is based at Dubai International Airport or Maktoum International Airport, depending on operational requirements.
Project and Portfolio Responsibilities
- Manage the portfolio in accordance with finance regulations, budget policies, and departmental procedures.
- Analyze and report portfolio performance, objectives, benefits, issues, risks, and opportunities.
- Develop and implement project plans covering tasks, responsibilities, timescales, dependencies, and resources.
- Manage project procurement, including tendering, evaluation, and selection.
- Develop progress reports, project documentation, and presentations.
- Manage project risks, mitigation activities, contingency plans, and risk-register escalation.
- Lead project team members in executing projects according to project management plans.
- Manage project schedules and communicate deviations to relevant stakeholders.
- Apply change management, coordinate impact assessments, and present recommendations.
- Conduct lessons-learned reviews and coordinate benefits-realisation reporting.
- Coordinate with Safety and Security to meet GCAA and DCAA regulations.
- Support service commercialization and continuously improve department policies, procedures, templates, and practices.
Qualifications
- Fluency in written and spoken English is essential.
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.
- Computer literacy is required.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills are required.
- Attention to detail and analytical skills are required.
