Position Purpose
The Project Manager – Technology Systems supports planning, coordination, and delivery of technology projects across the MEA region.
The role is open to early-career professionals and high-potential candidates with a technical foundation and commercial awareness.
Initial responsibilities may cover defined workstreams or smaller projects, progressing toward independent ownership of more complex projects.
Project Planning and Delivery
- Support delivery within agreed scope, schedule, budget, quality, and contractual requirements.
- Coordinate project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, milestones, risks, documentation, and status reporting.
- Monitor progress against baselines and escalate delays, cost deviations, risks, and resource constraints.
- Coordinate delivery, testing, acceptance, customer training, demonstrations, handover, and project closure.
Commercial and Stakeholder Coordination
- Track costs, revenue, margins, budgets, forecasts, and milestone progress.
- Support tenders, bid reviews, project costing, procurement, sourcing, and supplier quotation reviews.
- Coordinate customers, departments, suppliers, subcontractors, partners, authorities, and Sales teams.
- Support technical inputs, design reviews, after-sales services, warranty activities, and customer-service requirements.
Efficiency and Development
- Improve project management processes, templates, tools, reporting practices, resource planning, and asset utilization.
- Participate in project reviews and lessons-learned activities and translate insights into improvements.
- Build long-term relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.
- Develop capabilities required to manage larger and more complex projects independently.
Candidate Profile
- A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, Network Engineering, Information Technology, or a comparable technical discipline is required.
- Candidates with approximately 2–5 years of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
- Exceptional recent graduates with relevant internships, practical project exposure, and leadership potential may also be considered.
- Experience in technology, systems integration, telecommunications, air traffic control, defense, or security is advantageous.
- Previous formal people-management experience is not required.
Technical Knowledge and Skills
- Knowledge of communications and integrated technology systems is advantageous, including voice communication, V/UHF and HF radio, IP networking, and hardware-software integration.
- Strong analytical, planning, organizational, communication, relationship-building, and prioritization capabilities are required.
- Working knowledge of project management principles, tools, and methodologies is required.
- Microsoft Office proficiency is required; project planning, ERP, and reporting tool experience is advantageous.
- English fluency is essential; German or Arabic is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Willingness and ability to travel across the MEA region, including occasional extended assignments, is required.
