Role overview

Finance Analyst reporting to the Finance Manager for the RSMEA region.

The role supports financial operations for Middle East and Africa operations and legal entities managed from Dubai.

The position provides exposure to accounting, reporting, project costing, controls, business partnering and decision support.

The role is described as junior to mid-level and may require visits to offices in Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Germany.

Payments and banking

  • Administer employee expense claims and related payments while ensuring policy compliance and timely reimbursement.
  • Prepare and process supplier, employee, intercompany and other approved payments with complete documentation and authorization.
  • Validate payment requests against invoices, purchase orders, contractual terms, bank details, due dates and company policies.
  • Prepare payment batches and process transactions in ERP and electronic banking platforms with appropriate approval controls.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and resolve unmatched items, outstanding transactions and cash-book differences.

Accounting and compliance

  • Post non-PO expenses including travel, employee claims, commissions, office expenses and freight costs.
  • Support month-end close through general-ledger reconciliations, schedules, accruals, analysis and P&L reporting.
  • Prepare or support VAT returns for assigned countries and maintain supporting documentation and reconciliations.
  • Support statutory and internal audits and liaise with auditors, authorities and internal stakeholders.

Business partnering and improvement

  • Partner with Sales, Commercial, Projects, Service and other functions to clarify financial matters and provide practical support.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize or automate finance processes, reporting and controls.
  • Prepare monthly cash-flow forecasts and progressively take on broader responsibilities.

Candidate profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration or a related discipline.
  • Approximately 1–5 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, audit or controlling.
  • Hands-on ERP exposure and strong Excel capability, including lookups, pivot tables, logical formulas and data reconciliation.
  • SAP experience is strongly preferred; Power Query, Power BI or finance automation exposure is advantageous.
  • Progress toward a professional accounting designation is advantageous but a completed qualification is not mandatory.
  • Professional fluency in English.
