- Lead and manage large, complex, enterprise level projects
- Manage full project lifecycle including planning, scoping, cost estimation, scheduling, resourcing, technical solution design, monitoring, quality control, training, and closure
- Organize and lead project status and working meetings, including preparation of progress reports
- Manage project risks and issues, correct deviations from plans with focus on delivery planning
- Manage projects consisting of multiple agile teams requiring integration across departments
- Implement appropriate people, process and tools to improve team efficiency and effectiveness
- Blend traditional PM principles with Agile development approach to fit project and business environment
- Assist in team development, hold teams accountable, remove roadblocks, and leverage resources
- Manage customer expectations, stakeholder communications, and implement project governance
- Champion ongoing process improvement initiatives for Agile Project Management best practices
Requirements
- University Degree, preferably B.S. in Engineering or Business
- 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager implementing software or web development projects using Agile methodologies
- Experience overseeing multi function project teams (Developers, Business Analysts, QA)
- Understanding of software development life cycle and both Agile and traditional project management principles
- Previous experience with budgeting, execution or program management processes

Overview
- The Project Manager is a key role in the Quorum Middle East Professional Services organization.
- The successful candidate will transition between hands on project management and high level relationship building and program strategy.
- Ideal candidate has proven history of project execution implementing business oriented IT/Software solutions in Oil and Gas industry, preferably with Production Operations or Upstream experience.
- This position is based in Abu Dhabi.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage large, complex, enterprise level projects.
- Manage full Project lifecycle including initial planning, scoping, cost estimation, scheduling, resourcing, technical solution design, monitoring, quality control, training, and closure.

- Manage projects that often consist of multiple agile teams requiring integration with other activities and departments.
- Implement appropriate people, process and tools to improve team efficiency and effectiveness.
- Use good judgment and coaching skills to develop a project management approach.
- Blend traditional PM principles and practices with Agile development approach.
- Assist in team development while holding teams accountable, removing roadblocks, and leveraging resources.
- Support in managing customer expectations, stakeholder communications, and project governance.
- Champion ongoing process improvement initiatives for Agile Project Management.
- Promote empowerment of the team and encourage sustainable pace with high quality levels.
Requirements
- University Degree, preferably B.S. Degree in Engineering discipline or Business Degree.
- Proven track record of successfully implementing software or web development projects using Agile methodologies including 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager.
- Experience overseeing multi function project teams with members including Developers, Business Analysts, and QA Personnel.
- Understanding of software development life cycle models and knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles.
- Previous experience with budgeting, execution or program management processes.
