- Lead and manage large, complex, enterprise level projects
- Manage full project lifecycle including planning, scoping, cost estimation, scheduling, resourcing, technical solution design, monitoring, quality control, training, and closure
- Organize and lead project status and working meetings including preparation of progress reports
- Manage project risks and issues, correct deviations from plans
- Manage projects consisting of multiple agile teams requiring integration with other activities
- Implement appropriate people, process and tools to improve team efficiency and effectiveness
- Use good judgment and coaching skills to develop a project management approach
- Blend traditional PM principles with Agile development approach appropriately
- Assist in team development while holding teams accountable and removing roadblocks
- Support in managing customer expectations and stakeholder communications
- Champion ongoing process improvement initiatives for Agile Project Management
- Promote empowerment of the team and encourage sustainable pace with high quality
Requirements
- University Degree, preferably B.S. in Engineering or Business
- 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager implementing software projects using Agile
- Experience overseeing multi function project teams (Developers, Business Analysts, QA)
- Understanding of software development life cycle and Agile/traditional PM principles
- Experience with budgeting, execution or program management processes
- Working knowledge of Change Management initiatives
- Understanding of conceptual modeling, data requirements and data consolidation
- Experience with business architecture and business process management methodologies
- Demonstrated technical prowess including programming skills (SQL, C++/C#, Java, VB)
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal
- Ability to travel internationally 30 50% and valid passport

Overview
- The Project Manager is a key role in the Quorum Middle East Professional Services organization.
- The successful candidate will transition between hands on project management and high level relationship building and program strategy.
- Ideal candidate has proven history of project execution implementing IT/Software solutions in Oil and Gas industry, preferably in Production Operations or Upstream functions.
- This position is based in Abu Dhabi.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage large, complex, enterprise level projects.
- Manage full Project lifecycle including planning, scoping, cost estimation, scheduling, resourcing, technical solution design, monitoring, quality control, training, and closure.

- Manage projects that often consist of multiple agile teams requiring integration with other activities.

Requirements
- University Degree, preferably B.S. in Engineering or Business.
- Proven track record implementing software projects using Agile methodologies including 3+ years as Project Manager.
- Experience overseeing multi function project teams with Developers, Business Analysts, and QA Personnel.
- Understanding of software development life cycle and both Agile and traditional PM principles.
- Previous experience with budgeting, execution or program management processes.
- Working knowledge of Change Management initiatives and Best Practices.
- Understanding of conceptual modeling, data requirements and data consolidation.
- Experience with business architecture and business process management methodologies.
- Demonstrated technical prowess including programming skills (SQL, C++/C#, Java, VB) and systems architecture familiarity.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
Preferred Skills
- MBA or other advanced management training.
- Oil and Gas industry or Software Project Management experience with upstream asset life cycle.
- Prior experience with SCRUM/Agile methodologies for enterprise level application development projects.
- PMI ACP, CSM, or equivalent preferred.
- PMI PMP, PgMP, Prince2 or equivalent desired.

- Travel: Ability to travel internationally 30 50%. Must have a valid passport.
