WSP is seeking a highly experienced Project Manager / Senior Project Manager - Infrastructure for major infrastructure and masterplan development projects across the UAE.
The role leads multidisciplinary teams, manages client relationships, and oversees delivery against scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
The position requires an experienced project leader with a strong technical engineering background and complex infrastructure delivery experience.
Project management and delivery
- Lead planning, coordination, and delivery of large-scale infrastructure and masterplan development projects.
- Manage multidisciplinary design and project delivery teams across all project phases.
- Develop execution plans, schedules, resource forecasts, and delivery strategies.
- Monitor performance and implement corrective actions to support on-time, on-budget delivery.
Clients and stakeholders
- Act as the primary contact for clients and key stakeholders.
- Manage communications with government authorities, developers, contractors, and project partners.
- Lead project meetings, progress reviews, and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Support executive-level client interactions and project governance requirements.
Commercial and financial management
- Monitor project budgets, forecasts, resource utilisation, and commercial performance.
- Support contract administration, change management, commercial reporting, variations, claims, and contractual obligations.
- Manage project risks and contribute to profitability through effective planning and resource management.
Technical leadership and governance
- Provide technical leadership and oversight on infrastructure and masterplan development projects.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary design inputs and project deliverables.
- Support technical reviews, quality assurance, innovation, value engineering, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with project processes, governance frameworks, quality, safety, contractual, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 12-15+ years of experience in engineering consultancy, infrastructure delivery, or major development programmes.
- Experience with international engineering consultancies and large-scale infrastructure projects in the UAE.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing clients, government entities, developers, and stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of project management, project controls, commercial management, contract administration, and risk management.
- PMP certification, Chartered Engineer status, or equivalent accreditation is desirable.
