About the Role

- Lead end‑to‑end project delivery: scope refinement, workplans, schedules, budgets, procurement and contract management
- Oversee technical implementation of field monitoring (air, water, soil, noise) across urban, agricultural, heritage, tourism, industrial, airport and reserve zones, ensuring MEWA/ISO compliance
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams (field, GIS, laboratory, data, statistical analysts, consultants) and subcontractors; assign tasks and monitor performance
- Implement and enforce QA/QC protocols for sampling, chain of custody and laboratory analysis
- Supervise development and deployment of a centralized, scalable environmental data management and visualization system
- Ensure GIS‑guided site selection, spatial data capture and production of geostatistical maps and spatial analyses
- Manage production of technical deliverables: baseline reports, monitoring plans, standard operating procedures, QA/QC reports, statistical analyses, geospatial maps and final handover documentation
- Lead stakeholder engagement and coordination with government agencies, local authorities, heritage managers and other relevant parties
- Design and deliver capacity‑building activities and training for client staff on field methods, data systems, GIS, QA/QC and interpretation of results
- Identify project risks, develop mitigation plans and ensure timely resolution of issues
- Provide regular progress reports and presentations to the client and project sponsors
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Environmental Science/Engineering, Environmental Management, Geospatial Science, or related discipline
- PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in project management, with at least 5 years leading complex environmental monitoring or assessment programs
- Strong technical knowledge of environmental monitoring (air, water, soil, noise), MEWA/ISO standards, QA/QC, laboratory procedures and chain of custody practices
- Demonstrated experience with GIS applications, spatial analysis and environmental data management systems
- Familiarity with statistical analysis methods used for trend detection and environmental anomaly identification
- Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency desirable

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Environmental Science/Engineering, Environmental Management, Geospatial Science, or related discipline.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.
- Strong technical knowledge of environmental monitoring (air, water, soil, noise), MEWA/ISO standards, QA/QC, laboratory procedures and chain‑of‑custody practices.
- Demonstrated experience with GIS applications, spatial analysis and environmental data management systems.
- Familiarity with statistical analysis methods used for trend detection and environmental anomaly identification.
Experience
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in project management, with at least 5 years leading complex environmental monitoring or assessment programs.
- Proven track record managing multidisciplinary teams and large field/laboratory monitoring programs across multiple land‑use zones.
- Experience delivering data management/visualization platforms and conducting geostatistical analyses; experience working with governmental agencies preferred.
