Stantec is currently seeking a talented and dedicated Transportation Project Manager to complement and grow our skilled Transportation Roads and Highways Team in the Greater Toronto Area with offices in Markham and Hamilton/Stoney Creek.

Reporting to the Department Manager, you will assist in the pursuit of and be responsible for leading and managing multi-disciplinary project teams in the delivery of Ministry of Transportation, Ontario (MTO) preliminary and detail design assignments.

As an integral member of the Roads and Highway Team responsibilities will include:

• Managing and coordinating multi-disciplinary project teams.
• Preparing and managing project budgets, work plans, and schedules.
• Communicating and liaising with MTO.
• Consulting with agencies, stakeholders and public.
• Overseeing complex evaluations of planning and design alternatives.
• Overseeing quality control of project deliverables.
• Staff development and mentoring.
• Supporting business development and proposal preparation.
