- Fortress Interlocks, Wolverhampton (WV4 6FB) — Hybrid, 3 days per week in office
Salary
- £50,000–£55,000 per annum
- Contract Type: Fixed-Term (14 months), must be commutable to Wolverhampton
- Team: PMO, reporting to the Lead Project Manager
- About the opportunity Fortress Safety is looking for a Project Manager to join our PMO on a business-critical 14-month maternity cover assignment. You'll take ownership of a portfolio of strategic projects — applying structured planning, sound decision-making and strong stakeholder engagement to deliver on time, in scope and on budget, all while supporting Fortress's continued growth.
What you'll be doing
Shaping project direction through strategic thinking, aligning initiatives with Fortress's wider business goals and PMO strategy
Leading and delivering multiple projects simultaneously, defining scope, goals and deliverables with all stakeholders
Proactively solving problems and making timely decisions to keep projects on track
Building and managing strong relationships across the business, with distributors and with customers
Communicating and influencing confidently at all levels, translating complex project detail into clear updates
Planning and prioritising competing project demands, managing resources, risks and timelines
Championing continuous improvement, refining and following our New Product Development process
Motivating and influencing cross-functional teams to deliver results, even without formal authority
