Project Manager - Industrial Construction & Facilities

• Manage multiple industrial construction and facility infrastructure projects simultaneously, with individual and combined project budgets exceeding $50 million.
• Lead projects through planning, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and project closeout.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, resource plans, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including Engineering, Manufacturing, Maintenance, Facilities, Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement, Quality, EHS, and external contractors.
• Review engineering drawings, electrical one-line diagrams, P&IDs, construction documents, and technical specifications.
• Oversee installation and commissioning of industrial electrical, mechanical, HVAC, chiller, and utility systems.
• Ensure compliance with company safety standards, building codes, environmental regulations, and governmental requirements.
• Manage contractor performance, RFIs, change orders, project documentation, and construction quality.
• Identify project risks, troubleshoot technical challenges, and implement effective corrective actions.
• Coordinate utility infrastructure projects with utility providers, municipalities, and government agencies.
• Provide regular executive updates regarding project status, schedules, budgets, and risks.

• Partner closely with Supply Chain, Procurement, and Logistics teams to develop equipment procurement strategies aligned with project schedules.
• Coordinate long-lead equipment purchases to ensure materials arrive in accordance with construction milestones.
• Monitor supplier manufacturing timelines and delivery schedules to minimize project delays.
• Develop staging, storage, and material handling plans for large industrial equipment and construction materials.
• Coordinate transportation, site deliveries, crane schedules, and installation sequencing with contractors and logistics partners.
• Collaborate with internal warehouse teams to ensure proper receipt, inventory, and preservation of project materials.
• Identify supply chain risks and proactively develop contingency plans for critical equipment and utilities.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent experience).
• 5-7+ years of project management experience leading industrial construction or manufacturing facility projects.
• Demonstrated experience managing capital projects exceeding $50 million.
• Proven experience managing multiple complex projects simultaneously within an industrial or manufacturing environment.

• Strong understanding of medium voltage electrical distribution systems
• Expert knowledge of 480V three-phase electrical systems
• Three-phase power distribution and industrial electrical infrastructure
• Electrical equipment installation and commissioning

• Experience working directly with:

• State and federal regulatory agencies
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and industrial construction safety standards.
• Experience supporting battery manufacturing, automotive, heavy industrial, chemical processing, steel, food manufacturing, or other large-scale manufacturing facilities.
• PMP, PE, CCM, or equivalent professional certification preferred.
